The steel is declared by the workshop as 1060 carbon steel, water-quenched, and finished through thirteen hand water-polishing stages. The workshop does not state a boxed weight for this SKU; the iron saya makes it heavier than the wood-mounted pieces in this batch.

Fittings are gold-toned alloy. The tsuka is bound over imitation rayskin. This blade ships unsharpened for display and collection.
