Description

A short mount in the u-no-kubi zukuri geometry — the spine cut away toward the tip so the blade tapers in both width and thickness as it runs forward.

Steel is declared by the workshop as T10, clay-tempered. The blade is forged as a single piece and the profile widens radially from the habaki toward the tip while thinning along its axis, which is what gives this geometry its distinctive look.

Fittings are copper at the habaki with an alloy tsuba. At 51 cm overall and 750 g boxed this is the smallest piece in the workshop line.
