Description
A 103 cm collector reproduction of the Type 98 gunto mounting, the pattern issued to Japanese officers from 1938 onward.
Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.
The supplier-provided specifications list 1045 carbon steel for the blade, with a 2.2 cm sori. The saya is a hardwood core under a leather-look PU cover and the furniture is cast alloy.
Blade 72 cm within a 103 cm overall, 3.2 cm wide and 0.7 cm thick at the base. Supplied with a card gift box.
