Description

A katana whose blade carries a flowing twisted grain across its whole length — the pattern runs edge to spine in long curling bands rather than the straight layering more common on folded blades.

Steel is T8 tool steel, nine-fold forged and twisted as declared by the workshop, finished in a base hand polish that leaves the grain open and legible rather than closing it under a mirror.

The saya is white lacquered solid wood carrying a printed bald eagle between two United States flags, with gold and white stars trailing off to either side. Black ito over white same, silver-tone alloy fittings.
