Description

A wave-and-twin-fish tsuba in alloy sets the character of this 102 cm katana, mounted over a piano-lacquer hardwood saya.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

The blade is 1065 carbon steel in shinogi-zukuri, forged as one piece with the nakago and furnace heat-treated with constant-temperature tempering (workshop-declared). It carries no bo-hi.

Seppa and habaki are copper, the mekugi is bamboo, and the tsuka is bound in cotton ito over genuine rayskin. Weight is about 1.3 kg with the saya, 1.1 kg without.
