A silver four-lobed mokko-gata tsuba with gold relief picks up the warm tones, set against black ito over white rayskin-textured panels. The 1045 carbon-steel blade is water-quenched with a wavy temper line, and ships unsharpened for display.

The blade is 1045 carbon steel, water-quenched, with a wavy temper line. The tsuba is a silver mokko-gata (four-lobed) plate with gold relief.

Fittings are alloy. The saya is machine-lacquered hardwood. A carton box and protective oil are included.
