Description

A katana in a bright vermilion lacquered saya — the most saturated colour in this group — set against black ito over cream rayskin diamonds.

The blade is 5160 spring steel, mirror-polished by a thirteen-stage hand water-polish as declared by the workshop, with a visible temper line running its length.

Fittings are copper: a gold-tone tsuba in dense openwork, matching fuchi and kashira. The saya is lacquered cypress with a black sageo.
