This is a modern Longquan collector reproduction. No antique provenance, wartime issue, or original military ownership is claimed. Unsharpened, for display.

Workshop sheet: 102 / 70 / 25 cm, 3.1 × 0.8 cm. Clay-tempered hamon, hand finish / kesho polish as declared by the workshop. Tsuba, fuchi, kashira, menuki, koiguchi and habaki are brass. Samegawa on the tsuka. One mekugi. The factory card also claims “5,000+ layers.” We do not repeat that number — it cannot be counted on the finished sword.

This is a modern Longquan collector reproduction, not an original historical artifact.

Why this one costs more

Refined jigane and a clay hamon, not a $199 T10 bar.
Full brass set — tsuba, fuchi, kashira, menuki, habaki — not zinc with a brass-colored wash.
Wood-core saya wrapped in real rayskin, which is most of the gap versus an iron or lacquer scabbard.
