Made in Longquan and supplied unsharpened, this collector katana carries gold cloud motifs across the lower half of a teal speckled saya, fading into a plain silver-white upper section. A silver openwork tsuba of breaking waves and a gold dragon answers the same sea theme. Black ito over pale-blue rayskin-textured panels; 1045 carbon steel, water-quenched, on machine-lacquered hardwood.

The blade is 1045 carbon steel, water-quenched, with a wavy temper line along its length. The tsuba is a round silver openwork plate showing breaking waves with a gold dragon.

Fittings are alloy. The saya is machine-lacquered hardwood. A carton box and protective oil are included.
