Description

A 53 cm companion blade in T8 tool steel folded and twisted to produce the grain that runs the length of the blade, cut to a shinogi-zukuri profile with a distinct ridge line on each face.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

The steel is declared by the workshop as T8 in a twisted-fold lamination. The grain comes from the folding itself rather than being etched on afterwards. Finishing runs to fifteen hand polishing stages.

The saya is ebony and the fittings are carved copper. A brocade presentation box is included. This blade ships unsharpened for display and collection.
