White brush-like streaks drift the length of a black machine-lacquered hardwood saya on this Longquan-made collector katana, so no two stretches of the scabbard read quite the same. A round tsuba in gold and dark tones sits behind a copper-tone seppa, with black ito over cream rayskin-textured panels. The 1045 carbon-steel blade is water-quenched and supplied unsharpened.

The blade is 1045 carbon steel, water-quenched, with a wavy temper line. The tsuba is a round plate in gold and dark tones, set off by a copper-tone seppa.

Fittings are alloy. The saya is machine-lacquered hardwood. A carton box and protective oil are included.
