Repeating gold crest roundels march down a gloss black machine-lacquered hardwood saya, giving this Longquan-made collector katana a formal, heraldic look. The tsuba is a round silver plate with gold dragon-and-cloud openwork over a copper-tone habaki, and the black ito is bound over red rayskin-textured panels. Water-quenched 1045 carbon steel, supplied unsharpened for display and collection.

The blade is 1045 carbon steel, water-quenched, with a wavy temper line. The tsuba is a round silver plate with gold dragon-and-cloud openwork, paired with a copper-tone habaki.

Fittings are alloy. The saya is machine-lacquered hardwood. A carton box and protective oil are included.
