Description

Bright red lacquer covers the saya end to end, while the tsuka is wrapped in white ito with gold menuki underneath.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

High carbon steel with a bo-hi fuller makes up the 72 cm blade, unsharpened prior to dispatch. Blade and tang are one continuous piece, secured through the tsuka by mekugi pins.

Mounts are zinc alloy apart from the brass habaki seated at the base of the blade.

Care

Wipe the blade with a light machine oil after handling. Store horizontally, edge up, away from humidity.
