Description

Lacquered gold-brown and textured to imitate rayskin, the saya takes light unevenly along its length. Red ito covers the tsuka above it.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

The blade is high carbon steel with a bo-hi fuller, unsharpened before it is packed, and it measures 72 cm of the sword's 103 cm. It carries on as a full tang through the tsuka, where mekugi pinning holds it.

Gold menuki are set into the red wrap, and the fittings around them are zinc alloy with a brass habaki.

Wipe the blade with a light machine oil after handling. Store horizontally, edge up, away from humidity.
