Description

Teal mottling drifts through the blue lacquer of the saya; the tsuka goes the other way, red ito with gold menuki set into the wrap.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

Its blade is patterned steel with a bo-hi fuller, so both the pattern in the surface and the groove down the flat are visible on the bare blade. The tang is one piece with it and mekugi-pinned.

The fittings are zinc alloy castings, the habaki brass.
