Description

Red streaks break across the black lacquer of the saya in an irregular marbled pattern, and the tsuka repeats the pair as red ito with black diamonds.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

A bo-hi fuller runs down the high carbon steel blade, which is unsharpened before shipping. Tang and blade are the same piece of steel, full length through the tsuka and pinned with mekugi.

The habaki at the blade collar is brass, and the tsuba and other fittings are zinc alloy.

Care

Wipe the blade with a light machine oil after handling. Store horizontally, edge up, away from humidity.
