Carving runs through the amber lacquer of the saya, cut in relief so each line holds a shadow. The tsuka is wrapped in purple ito with black diamonds at the crossings.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

Inside, high carbon steel carries a bo-hi fuller down the blade and continues as one uninterrupted piece into the handle, where mekugi pins secure it. It arrives unsharpened.

The mounts are zinc alloy and the habaki is brass.

Care

Wipe the blade with a light machine oil after handling. Store horizontally, edge up, away from humidity.
