Description

Gold lightning inlay runs the length of the black lacquered saya, and above it the tsuka is wrapped in lavender ito over silver-white menuki. Pale grip, dark scabbard.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

Underneath the wrap, blade and tang are a single piece of high carbon steel, held in the handle by mekugi pins. A bo-hi fuller is cut into the blade, and the blade is supplied unsharpened for display and collection.

Tsuba and kashira are zinc alloy, with a brass habaki at the blade collar.

Care

Wipe the blade with a light machine oil after handling. Store horizontally, edge up, away from humidity.
