Description

Sparkle is suspended in the gold-brown lacquer of this saya, a brown-leaning gold rather than a bright one. Lavender ito covers the tsuka, wrapped over black diamonds.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

High carbon steel with a bo-hi fuller forms the blade, and the same steel runs the full length of the tsuka, held there by mekugi pins. The blade is supplied unsharpened for display and collection.

Zinc alloy is used for the fittings, with brass at the habaki.

Wipe the blade with a light machine oil after handling. Store horizontally, edge up, away from humidity.
