Description

Metallic flake in the red saya lacquer catches light as the sword is turned. The tsuka is bound in grey ito, with red diamonds showing at the crossings.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

The core is a single piece of high carbon steel, fullered with a bo-hi and carried through into the tsuka, where mekugi pins hold it. The edge is unsharpened before it ships.

Brass is used at the habaki; the surrounding fittings are zinc alloy.

Wipe the blade with a light machine oil after handling. Store horizontally, edge up, away from humidity.
