Description

Black lacquer textured to imitate rayskin gives this saya a pebbled surface rather than a smooth one. Deep green ito wraps the tsuka over gold menuki.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

The blade has a blackened finish. Its steel grade is not confirmed. Blade and tang are a single piece, secured through the tsuka with mekugi, and it arrives unsharpened.

A copper tsuba sits at the guard; the remaining fittings are zinc alloy and the habaki is brass.
