Description

A fine speckle lies over the black lacquer of the saya, reading as grain rather than as a separate pattern. White diamonds mark the black ito along the wrap.

Unsharpened collector configuration. Sold and fulfilled unsharpened for adult collection and display only.

Its high carbon steel blade carries a bo-hi fuller and unsharpened before it is packed. One piece of steel forms both blade and tang, and mekugi pins secure it in the tsuka.

Zinc alloy runs through the fittings, and the habaki is brass.

Care

Wipe the blade with a light machine oil after handling. Store horizontally, edge up, away from humidity.
